Since our inception in the year 1993, we “SILVERTOAN PAPERS LIMITED” are offering a wide range of Kraft Paper. Our range of products includes Kraft Paper, Kraft Board and Packing Paper with Annual Turnover of INR 250 crores and installed capacity of 1,15,500 MT TPA. We have successfully established itself as a most prominent enterprise in Kraft Paper Industry. Our manufacturing units are located at Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) India and only 120 km. away from National Capital, New Delhi.

Empowered with a state-of-the-art infrastructure, we produce high strength kraft paper at leading industry prices. Most of our products are manufactured using agro-based raw materials and designed as per the prevalent market trends followed globally.

Aim to be Eco Friendly Manufacturer
Over the years–ever since the paper production industry came into existence, the use of wood to make pulp furnish the end product has led to the cutting of trees in large numbers. The trees that sustain our life have been treated dreadfully. However, the use of bagasse can solve these problems to a large extent. Since  bagasse is a waste product of sugar industries, no more trees need to be cut for paper productions. Our Company uses Bagasse in manufacturing Papers. Bagasse is highly biodegradable. Even within the factory, bagasse has properties that require less chemical bleaching. It requires less bleaching chemicals than wood pulp to achieve a bright white sheet of paper. This leads to a reduction in the impact of chemicals like chlorine on the environment. At the same time, Our Company also uses Waste Papers (Recycling Paper) which reduces adverse effect on environment.

Hence, Our Company supports “Go Green Initiative” for long term Sustainable Development. Our aim is to make environment friendly papers by using agro-waste materials in order to provide benefits to the farmers as well as ecological system.

Environmental Policy
Being a paper manufacturer, we understand our responsibilities towards society and environment. Hence, we operate through efficient equipments and technologies that are in conformation with the pertinent environmental norms. We don't cut trees to manufacture papers. Our effluent treatment plant meets the entire norms set by Pollution Control Boards.

Opportunities in Paper Segment
The ban on plastic bags in the State has turned out to be a boon for manufacturers of paper bags. Paper bags are being seen as the obvious replacement for plastic carry bags.

Paper bags are eco-friendly and benefit a lot of the users. This is because they can be easily taken care of and reused. They are both biodegradable and recyclable. The fact that they are biodegradable means that they pose minimal danger to the wildlife and environment.

Raw Materials
The main raw materials used in the production of craft paper at our production centre are:

• Baggasse
• Wheat straw
• Indian & Imported Waste paper

The selection of agro-based waste as raw materials is based on the concept of sustainable development of society as well as environment. The use of agro-residues helps the farming community as well as it provides employment to those people who collect and transport of these materials.
Further, these materials are available in abundance in Muzaffarnagar. There are lot of sugar mills that provide baggasse.

Infrastructure
We have world class infrastructure set-up in Muzaffarnagar, UP, India, which can be reached in just few hours from New Delhi. Spread in 55000 square meter of area, the establishment is provided with requisite facilities to ensure prompt and effective processing of the business orders. Further, we have our own co-generation power plant to meet our electricity demand.

In our installed capacity, there are well-developed working departments such as production control, quality testing, product storing & packaging, product shipment, etc. This assigns us to carry on our business functioning in organized manner. These capabilities also enable us to produce different types of craft paper products for general and specific requirements of our clients.

We provide different types of papers in individual packaging i.e. REELS & SHEETS and we outsource transportation facility from leading C&F agencies.

Our Captive Power Generation
Mills purchase most of their energy from local sources and since they tend to be in urban areas. But Silvertoan Papers Limited generates power in-house and is self sufficient and caters to the power and steam demand of the entire Production Plant.

Our Power Plant produces around 27 TPH of super heated steam for power generation at the tune of 4 MW to ensure uninterrupted round the clock electric supply to maintain optimum production.

Research & Development

We maintain a pool of qualified and experienced professionals to look out for new opportunities in order to develop cost-effective craft papers through indigenous techniques. We continue to research and analysis market orientation and latest trends so that we can incorporate them into our production process.
